Cleveland Park sits on the north side of East Nashville, in 37207, between Dickerson Pike and Ellington Parkway, north of Main Street and the Cleveland Street corridor that names it. The park itself — Cleveland Park, with its community center and ball fields — anchors the middle of the neighborhood. Its original homes are small early-1900s cottages and bungalows; over the last decade it has become one of the most heavily rebuilt neighborhoods in the city, with new detached homes and “tall-and-skinny” pairs on a large share of its blocks.

That mix is the point for most buyers here: new construction a few minutes from downtown at prices below Lockeland Springs and Five Points, on streets that still have the older cottages and a neighborhood feel. Dickerson Pike, long an auto-oriented corridor, has been changing too, with new restaurants, coffee and apartments along it. Downtown is close — Spring Street and the Jefferson Street bridge, or Main Street and the Woodland Street bridge, put the center of the city about two miles away. Ellington Parkway runs along the eastern edge for the fastest route north to Briley Parkway and the airport side of town.
